Trying to make Angus look good ? Charles Kennedy, leader of the Liberal Democrats, will host Have I Got News Fpr You this week. Jeremy Clarkson will host the final show, at least he has the advantage of being a TV presenter, which Boris Johnson so obviously isn't ! A full time host will be chosen for the next series in 2003.
Merton on DVD A new DVD is now available, "The Very Best of Have I Got News For You". This 194 minute dvd covers the first 13 years of the show. Although the video version also runs for 194 minutes, the DVD conatins the following extras: Audio commentary by team captains Hislop and Merton

Angus to "step down" Angus Deayton will no longer host "Have I Got News For You" after recent newspaper reports into his private life have made him a part of the news rather than a commentator on it. Paul Merton will host this weeks show (should be VERY interesting !). A new permanent host will be announced soon.
New News on "NEWS" Series 24 of "Have I Got News For You" will be showing on the BBC from 18th, 25th Oct, 1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th Nov, 6th, 13th & 20th Dec 2002.
New NEWS and Celebrate "Clue" New series of Have I Got News For You, Friday BBC1 9pm (Repeated Saturdays 10.30pm). Saturday 13th April Radio 4, 6.15pm :- 30 Years Of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
