Paul Merton in Galton & Simpson's ... In 1996 and 1997 Paul starred in two series made up of updated Galton and Simpson scripts. Although often referred to as "old Tony Hancock" scripts only 6 of the 15 shows had been performed by Hancock. In fact the best episodes were generally the non-Hancock ones.
